I am looking for my soulmate from either the Ukraine or Russia. I have been to Odessa and Kiev in the Ukraine 4 times and am familiar with both Russian language (having studied Russian for a year at the University of South Florida) and Ukrainan culture.

I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, travelling, keeping fit, playing the guitar, my film collection and slow-dancing (with the RIGHT woman, of course) 😉
On the more "personal" side, I find it difficult to be truly objective; because I believe that (as humans) we tend towards wishing to always project ourselves in a bright, positive light. However...my close friends and those who know me best have described me as being highly intelligent, a good friend and listener, communicative, poetic, loyal, a true romantic ...and possessing a quick wit and engaging sense of humor.

My ideal match should be attractive, intelligent and caring, possessing good values and manners, open⁸-minded and loyal. I seek a woman who is serious about a long-term relationship, and I am willing to travel to meet her, but only after a period of getting to know each other first has been established. Communication, friendship FIRST and developing a sense of TRUST with each other is, in my opinion, the basis for any healthy relationship that has the potential for success.
